Sequel to the release of his debut mixtape ‘The Waiter's Theory’, Which featured hip-hop heads like T.R (Terry Tha Rapman), A-Q, BlaqBonez, Phlow, Butafly, Veedee, Fecko and many others - fast-rising MC, Gedes decides to unleash his collaboration "For My Team" with the King Slayer - A-Q off the #TwT tape. 

The song "For My Team" starts with a brief skit which sees the two lyricists revealing why they Rap. "I rap to educate people; of course, the money sef na motivation." - Says Lord Gedes, AQ on the other hand brags thus: “funny thing is I don’t really like rapping// I just like to look up faces of rappers when I out-rap them//”. This masterpiece is filled with catchy wordplays and heavy punchlines.

No doubt, Gedes has experienced a tremendous increase in prestige following the #TwT buzz and subsequent to that, the record "For My Team" is intended to fortify his reputation as one of Nigeria’s best underground rappers in Nigeria.
